At the meeting, representatives of the Council transmitted to the Minister the problems facing our profession with the profound legislative changes are being addressed at present mainly focused on the lack of regulation. In this regard, the Ministry argues that the trend in Europe and in Spain is in the opposite direction, ie, walk to the liberalization of services and professional practice. However, in the current situation and future expectations that we see, our engineering is discriminated against with respect to the other for not being regulated, which creates a negative social perception of vocation causes a crisis that in the medium term could lead to shortages of talent in our industry.
On another hot topic that has stirred our collective inclusion of our profession in the National Classification of Occupations, the Ministry recognized that there is little point in our exclusion and understands that should be remedied.
CCII greatly appreciates the fact that the Minister of Presidency and we have received your interest in our problems, but this first meeting has not served to reach any compromise.
This meeting could not go any representative of CONCITI for reasons beyond their control, but the President of CCII Minister expressed the union between the two Councils and that at that meeting also came on their behalf.
