As we have said in our communications, the profession of Engineers and Computer Engineers by law must be obtained in the Congress of Deputies and for that ALI has met with all political groups represented in Congress, and exposed them the need to obtain our profession in the same conditions as the rest of the engineering.

After our meetings, in a climate of great cordiality and willingness of the political groups, we can only await the final resolution which should take place by next January 2011.

In our press, we have argued that the achievement of our profession is a matter of extreme necessity, because without it, we will never reach our place in society. Our curricula are not up to the rest of engineering, our Colleges and Schools Councils will not have the representation should have and many more that never make it.

ALI's concern for obtaining the profession has always been an absolute priority of their claims, so resources were brought in administrative litigation, pending judicial resolution, and in parallel we have continued to work hard for this mission and Hence our meetings at the Congress of Deputies.
